I am currently answering this question on an application:
"What is your personal confession of faith? (please expand on your view of the Trinity: Father, Son, Holy Spirit)"
I was very tempted to simply write out the lyrics of a kids song we sang at church tonight based on Romans 5:8 -
His Great Love
God loves us
God sent His Son to die for us,
Because of His Great Love
His Great Love
God showed His GREAT BIG Love
By sending Christ to die [and rise again!] for us,
while we were still sinners!
Pretty much sums it up, eh?? Oh, and after Christ rose again, He sent His Holy Spirit to live in and through us to guide us and give us strength in Him, wherever we are. ("Wherever you go"...another good song ;) Joshua 1:9
Kids WOW was the best tonight. It totally refreshes my soul and boosts my confidence. Praise Jesus for His greatness and LOVE! The kids teach me so much too! Childlike faith is incredible. Thanks to everyone involved! Love you all so much!!!! Let's go out and be children of God in this world!
